Install the Convertica app

Convertica installs straight from your browser as an app: an icon on your home screen, a full-screen window and offline access. There is nothing to download from the App Store or Google Play.

Sign in once and your account travels with you: on every device you keep your Premium status, your saved presets and your conversion history.

Install it on your device

Android (Chrome, Edge)

  1. 1Open convertica.net in Chrome or Edge.
  2. 2Tap the Install banner, or open the browser menu and choose Install app.
  3. 3Confirm, and the Convertica icon lands on your home screen.

iPhone / iPad (Safari)

  1. 1Open convertica.net in Safari.
  2. 2Tap the Share button, then choose Add to Home Screen.
  3. 3Tap Add. iOS has no automatic prompt, so this manual step is the whole trick.

Desktop (Chrome, Edge)

  1. 1Open convertica.net in Chrome or Edge.
  2. 2Click the install icon at the end of the address bar.
  3. 3Convertica opens in its own window, like a desktop app.

Your account on every device

Premium

Convertica does not sync your work sessions or your files between devices - it does not need to. What travels with your account, the moment you sign in anywhere, is this:

  • Premium status and no daily limits, wherever you log in.
  • Saved Workflows presets - your named tool-and-settings shortcuts, synced so they show up on your phone and your laptop alike.
  • Conversion history for the last 12 months, tied to your account.
  • A push notification on every device when a background task is done, or the finished file by email.

Your files are never stored or synced. They are processed and then deleted about an hour later - only your presets and history metadata live on your account.

Is this a real app I install from a store?
No store needed. Convertica installs straight from your browser as a Progressive Web App: you get an icon on your home screen and a full-screen app window, without going through the App Store or Google Play.
How do I install it on my iPhone or iPad?
Open convertica.net in Safari, tap the Share button, then choose Add to Home Screen. iOS does not show an automatic install prompt, so this is the one manual step - after it, the icon behaves like any other app.
Does the app work offline?
The app shell and your recently used pages are cached, so Convertica opens even with no connection. Conversions themselves still run on our servers, so those need you to be online.
Is my work synced across devices?
Your account is. Sign in and your Premium status, saved workflow presets and conversion history are available on every device. Your files are never stored or synced - they are processed and then deleted about an hour later.
Is the app free?
Yes. Installing the app and using the converters is free. Cross-device preset sync, history, background mode and priority processing are part of Convertica Premium.
