Sign a PDF online — draw, type, or upload

Sign PDF lets you place a signature onto any page of a PDF. Draw it with the mouse or finger, type your name in a handwriting-style font, or upload a PNG/JPG of your hand-signed paper. Click on the preview to drop the signature, drag to position, and pull the corner handle to resize.

Multiple signatures on multiple pages are supported, so a long contract can be signed once at the bottom of every page. Files are processed in-memory and deleted immediately after download; your signature stays local to your browser.

Sign PDF FAQ

How do I create a signature?
Three ways: draw it on the canvas with your mouse or finger, type your name and we render it in a handwriting font, or upload a PNG/JPG image. PNG with a transparent background gives the cleanest result for uploads.
Can I place the signature anywhere on the page?
Yes. After creating your signature, click anywhere on the PDF preview to drop it there. Drag it around to fine-tune the position, or pull the corner handle to resize. You can place multiple signatures on the same page or different pages.
Can I sign multiple pages of a long contract?
Yes. Use the page selector above the preview to switch pages, then click to drop a signature on each one. Every placement is saved and applied when you press Sign PDF.
Will my signature be saved for next time?
If you drew or typed your signature, the last version is saved locally in your browser (never sent to the server), so you can re-use it on the next visit with one click. Uploaded images are not saved for privacy.
Is this legally binding?
This tool adds a visual image signature to the PDF. For legally binding electronic signatures with audit trails and certificates, a dedicated e-signature service is recommended.
